"Mama! Mama! Charlie is back! Charlie is back!". . . I woke up this morning to my 8 year old screaming to my ears. Yes! It's time again for Charlie the Elf on the Shelf's adventure at The Chrisman Family until Christmas Eve!
He will watch if the Chrisman boys, Martin, Zachary, and Gavin are behaving well everyday and report back to Santa Clause everyday while he entertains us with his little mischief.
My boys tend to behave nicely during this time as they all don't want their names recorded on the Santa's "Naughty List" especially when Charlie is around watching them reporting Santa about them.
Charlie came back this year with nice souvenirs of Advent chocolate calendars for the whole family and refreshment mints in a cute "the Elf on the shelf" shaped tin can ornament for the boys.
My 3 year old was a bit upset as Charlie beat him to our wall countdown. My boys wake up early during this time of the year just to beat each other for moving the candy cane every morning. Good news is I don't have to wake them up, but the bad news is to see 2 upset little faces because they woke up 2nd and 3rd to miss the opportunity of moving the candy cane.
12月1日、今朝は耳元で ｢ママ！ママ！ チャーリーが帰って来てるよ！ チャーリーが帰って着てるよ－－－!｣という長男の大声で起こされました。

クリスマン家とチャーリー、棚の上のエルフのアドベンチャーの始まり、始まり！
去年ブログをフォローされた方々にとっては、我が家の棚の上のエルフ、チャーリーは、既にお馴染みですね。子供達が起きている間は、いい子でいるかを棚の上から監視し、ノースポールに戻ってサンタクロースに報告。毎晩皆が寝静まった頃にノースポールから戻ってきて、いろんないたずらを仕出かす｢棚の上のエルフ｣のジャーナルです。 息子達は、自分の悪い行いをサンタクロースにレポートされ、Naughty Listに載せられては困ると、この期間は特別おりこうさんにしてくれます。
今年は、アドベントカレンダーと｢棚の上のエルフ｣の形のティン缶オーナメントのリフレッシュミントをお土産に、我が家に戻ってきたチャーリー。マ マ特製のサンタの壁掛けカウントダウン、第一日目を先取りしたチャーリーに、末っ子ギャビンはちょっとご機嫌斜めになってしまいました。明日は、僕が早起 きして2日目のポケットにキャンディケインを移すのだと張り切る末っ子ですが、ステップストゥールちゃんと上れるか少し心配です。
