トーマス・ジェファーソン大統領に会おう! －リチャード・ニクソン図書館にて

We were at Richard Nixon Presidential Library today in a repｌica of the white house east room for the event called "Meet President Thomas Jefferson".  We learned all about our 3rd president,Thomas Jefferson especially as the founder of the Declaration of Independence. After having the refreshments (varieties of cookies and lemonade) at the end of the event, we took our time to see Richard Nixon exhibits and walked around the rose garden.

今日は、『トーマス・ジェファーソン大統領に会おう!』というイベントに参加する為、リチャード・ニクソン博物館＆図書館のホワイトハウス東館レプリカルームに来ています。　トーマス・ジェファーソンの格好をした男性が登場し、特にアメリカ独立宣言稿執筆者としてのトーマス・ジェファーソンの話を詳しくしてくれました。

イベントの最後にはリフレッシュメントのクッキーとレモネードが振舞われ、Monticelloのぬり絵をしながら、建築家でもあったトーマス・ジェファーソンについても学ぶ事ができました。
最後に、少しずつでも息子達が興味を示してくれたらいいなと思いで、リチャード・ニクソンの展示もしっかり見学して帰りました。
