I guess my 5 year old have been working on Mother's Day gift during the craft time at school. He gave me his hand pressed ceramic decor and a handbag shaped card.
僕のママ。「トゥルーストーリー」（実話)と題されたドキュメンタリー的な内容が綴ってあるではないですか。 When I opened a card, it turned out it was the documentary about me titled "My Mother : A True Story".
最初のページある "My mom looks the best when she wears ______.”(OO を着ている時のママが、一番素敵に見える。）という欄に、単に ”服” という答え。
普通、 赤いドレスとか、ビキニとか（それはないか．．．）、浴衣とか、花柄のスカートとか書くでしょう．．． ５歳だけど、男の子だけど、それはないっしょって思いながら、これはもしかして皮肉たっぷりのジョークでしょうか?! 「ママは裸じゃ～、見ごたえないってこと？」と聞くと、何にも言わずにニンマリとした次男でした。

Most kids at his age would probably fill in the words like "Red Dress", "Bikini" (just kidding), "Kimono", or "Skirt with flower print". I know he is a boy, and he is 5, but "Clothes"? really?. . . He's been always the sarcastic one with dry humor. Is he sending me a message between the lines?
