イースター（Easter) 2014

We went to the Easter service at friend's church this year.

今年のイースターは、友達家族と教会でのイースターサービスにいってきました。

Here are the Easter inspired sweets I made this year except for the sugar cookies made by "Great Dane Baking Company". Aren't these cookies too cute to eat?

今年もイースターに因んで、こんなスイーツを作りました。クッキーは、｢グレートデインベーキングカンパニー｣で購入したシュガークッキー。可愛すぎて食べれない～。

もう20年近くのお付き合いで、家族みたいな存在の友達が、79歳のお誕生日を迎えました。母の様な、伯母の様な、お婆ちゃんの様な温かさでいつも包んでくれる彼女にピッタリの、林檎のタルトをバースデーケーキに作りました。You are my friend, mother-like, auntie like wonderful BFF! I'd love to be just like you when I'm 79 years young. Happy belated Birthday, Jo Anne!

DVF 40 Journey of a Dress -LACMA

ダイアン・バン・フォステンバーグのキャリアや彼女のデザインするドレスの歴史なんかどうでもいいのに、嫌な顔一つせずおつき合いしてくれた息子達。 I dragged my boys to "Journey of a dress" exhibit with the promise of taking them to "The Beautiful Game", the soccer exhibit at LACMA.

コートヤードで一休みした後は、サッカーの展示"The beautiful game"に足を運びました。
"Zidane"のフィルムには、私もうっとり．．．。

Puffy Pastries　（一口デザート)

毎週日曜は、グランマ＆グランパ訪問、そして一緒にランチ！

手土産に、パフィペイストリーのひと口デザート作ってみました。

Visiting my in-laws every Sunday for a Grandma & Grandpa time for my boys.

They usually provide us with lunch,

and we usually provide them with dessert.

It works for me!

調子にのって、キャラプレートのリピートです。

ハマチのお刺身でウサギちゃん！
純米大吟醸酒で、私好みの週末の締めでございます。

Another character inspired plate with prime yellow tail sashimi (bunny rabbit with a bow tie as Easter is just around the corner) along with grilled shrimp with Yuzu pepper paste.
